Basin compatibility: check before ordering

Please verify your basin and plumbing before ordering. A 32mm connection alone does not confirm that this waste will fit your basin. Ask your basin supplier or plumber to confirm compatibility with this model, EAB-107-32 NO.

• Overflow arrangement: N/O means No Overflow. Check whether your basin has an overflow opening and an internal overflow passage. A basin that drains its overflow through the waste requires a compatible overflow waste; do not select this N/O model for that arrangement without written confirmation from the basin and waste suppliers.
• Basin drain fit: Confirm the actual drain-hole diameter, recess shape, sealing surfaces and basin thickness against the supplier's dimensional drawing. Check that the waste has sufficient threaded reach and clearance for the retaining nut and pop-up cap. Do not assume the basin hole should measure 32mm.
• Trap connection: Confirm the trap size and connection type match the 32mm waste connection. If the trap or pipework differs, ask your plumber to specify a compatible adapter or reducer. Do not assume a 40mm connection fits directly.
• Seals and additional parts: Confirm the correct upper and lower seals or washers, retaining fittings and any trap adapter with the supplier before installation. Included fittings and model-specific adapter requirements have not been confirmed here. Use only seals and sealing products approved for the waste and basin materials.

Installation checks

• Have your plumber check the basin, waste, trap and any adapter together before fitting. Follow the basin and waste suppliers' installation instructions.
• Inspect the waste, seals and basin sealing surfaces for damage. Confirm washer placement and tightening requirements from the installation instructions; do not force a mismatched fitting or overtighten against the basin.
• Check that the pop-up opens and closes freely and that the trap aligns without strain.
• After installation, test water retention with the plug closed, then release the water and check drainage and every joint for leaks. Resolve any leak before use.
